Over the Superbowl weekend our friends Kim and Jesse and their cute baby Peyton came and stayed with us. It was so fun to have them here. We made yummy food and ate way too much. We were rooting for the Cardinals and thought they had it but sadly they lost. I was so excited for the commercials but they turned out to be so lame, don't you think?
A couple of weeks ago my friend Kaeli and I threw Jess a baby shower. It turned out way cute and it was good to see everyone, I hope everyone had fun! :) Jess looked so cute with her belly, I'm so excited for her and Justin. They'll be great parents and I can't wait to see their little girl!

Ok so we love our dog so much that I had to put her haircut pics on here :) Isn't she the cutest dog ever?! Whenever I pick her up from the groomer she is so excited she jumps into my arms, probably saying that she hates being there. She looks cute a little shaggier but she LOVES being in the snow so this cut is perfect. But I just wanted to share the little love of my life.
Cache and I made an impulse decision when we decided to go to a 49ers game in San Francisco. Steve Young retired his jersey and Cache couldn't pass it up. And what would the chances be of us staying in the same hotel as the team!! We tried going up to their floor but there was a guard so we didn't make it very far. We had so much fun!! We got there early and hung out with the tailgaters which is like my favorite part of the football game because they are all crazy and excited and friends with everyone. Then after the game we pretty much were stalkers waiting for the players to drive out. But it worked because Cache got to meet some of them and got their autographs. We hung out at Fisherman's Wharf, eating constantly and seeing all the sights. We ended up renting bikes and riding across the Golden Gate Bridge. It was so cool, but as you can tell by the pictures, the wind was blowing the entire time. We rode across the bridge to the little town on the other side and rode a ferry back. It was such a fun trip and we can't wait to go back!
I drove the six hours to Charleston to see Cache, and it was totally worth it! It was so fun to see Cache, I missed him like crazy! They have been living in a hotel for two weeks, I was there for a week and was ready to leave ha. Eating out every night, sometimes twice just isn't healthy. The office has been working so hard the entire summer, so they decided to take their first day off and go to a lake. It was so much fun!! They rented party boats and jumped off cliffs, pretty much being boys :) but it was good for them to finally have some fun. Cache had a blast and was in the water or jumping or doing something the entire day. Journee got to come along too, along with her two friends and the other cute wives!

So today is so exciting and sad at the same time. First of all I can't believe how fast one year has gone!! We were married August 4, 2007 and time never slowed down after that. I have never been so happy in all my life, I love my husband SO much and can't wait for forever with him!!
The sad part is that we don't even get to see each other today! :( His office decided to move area and left yesterday for 3 weeks!!! So yesterday we woke up early and went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast, Cache's new obsession is their pancakes and the little bottles of syrup they give you. Then we went into DC and went to the Smithsonian Zoo. We had such a fun day seeing all the animals and just laughing, but it was sad when it had to come to an end. But I'm going to visit him next week so that will be great.
I couldn't ask for a more loving, hard working husband! Happy Anniversary Babe! I love you!!
The 4th of July is my favorite holiday so it was so exciting to be in the Nations Capitol for it! Cache had to work during the day, so the wives went into DC and saved seats in front of the Capitol to watch the fireworks. We had just gotten done laying out our blankets and getting food ready when it started to rain. We all huddled under our umbrellas, but still got wet, but then it was perfect for the fireworks. They had a concert and a bunch of tents set up with fun things to do, it was a lot of fun!!
So we've been debating if we wanted a dog for quite some time now. And as you can see, we finally gave in!! She's a cocker spaniel, and only 7 weeks old. She definitely knows that she is a little pampered princess :) Journee was the runt so she's so small and loves to be cuddled. I think you all knew it would be a matter of time before we got one ha. And Cache gave her her first bath and blow dryer session ;) I had forgotten how much work it is to have a puppy, especially when my parents were the ones doing all the work! But she keeps me busy and entertained all day!
All of us wives wait for saturday night when we can go out with our hubbies! It's usually as the restaurant is closing, but it's always a good time. Camron is one of Cache's managers, and Stacy is his wife. Cache is still doing awesome and so is the rest of the office, good job boys!!
On our day off we jumped on the metro and went to D.C. We are only 30 minutes away, and it was so nice not having to drive! There is so much to see and it's all within miles of each other. We had so much fun spending the day with each other, and seeing all the cool sights. And we finally got our new camera so I can keep up with our blog!!
Cache and I were married on August 4, 2007. Right after the honeymoon, we packed our car and headed south to Tucson, AZ for fall sales. It was the perfect thing for us. We were on our own as a new married couple and grew closer than ever!! We moved back to Rexburg after and Cache went to school at BYU-Idaho. We were only home for 4 months after Tucson when we picked up and moved to Virginia for summer sales! :) Cache is doing so good and to help out a little, I got a job at the mall with some of the other wives. We love it here and can't wait for all the new adventures ahead of us!!

Cache and I went to see P.S. I love you when it first came out in theaters, and I pretty much fell in love with Gerard Butler! I cried from the start to the finish. Cache loved it too, but he's a softy when it comes to chick flicks :) We liked it so much because it made us realize how lucky we are to have each other! You all should check it out!
Go Niners!!
So for those of you who don't know, Cache is a HUGE 49ers fan. While we were in Tucson, we were able to go to the new stadium in Glendale and watch the Niners play the Cardinals. We didn't have that good of seats, and were surrounded by Cardinals fans, but we had so much fun!!! It was fun to see how excited Cache was the entire time! He also got to meet the owner of the niners and they won in over time!! The perfect game.
